How Automation Can Reduce Distractions

Yesterday, I talked about an automation that lets organize clients’ files from email by forwarding them to a special address. Automation, after receiving the message, puts files into respective folders on Google Drive.

Besides making file organization easier, this makes searching for files much less distracting.

Before, if employees couldn’t find a file, they would search their email. And what happens when we open our email inbox? We often get distracted by new emails and lose focus on the task at hand.

Now, employees don’t need to open email when searching for files and get distracted less.

This is something that can be overlooked when it comes to automation. If humans are in the process, you can improve it not only by making it faster but albo by making it less distracting.
